Returned from conference yesterday
I had a great time
Interesting thoughts and perspectives offered

Made my first comments to the gathered voters
Spoke out in favor of the resolution protesting TANF cuts which are eliminating the Diversion Program
Glad to say it passed overwhelmingly

Heard great words from Rev. Leslie of Wesley Chapel in London and Rev. Ella of Wesley Chapel in WV
I agree we have to "get out of the boat"
Accordingly I am so glad that Reverend John amended the Major Gifts Campaign to include missions otherwise I fear we would be building a great boat, but not necessarily doing Jesus' work
