Another Medal?

Last week, Fox News horse's ass anchor, Josh Gibson, had the gall to suggest that Karl Rove deserved a medal for blowing the cover of a covert CIA agent. An act that Rove was so proud of, that he denied it for 2 years.

Well, it turns out that Vice President Cheney's Chief of Staff, Lewis Libby, is another source for the CIA story. I guess he deserves a medal too.

"The vice president's chief of staff, Lewis Libby, was a source along with the president's chief political adviser for a Time story that identified a CIA officer, the magazine reporter said Sunday, further countering White House claims that neither aide was involved in the leak."

Look for more parsing of language this week, but the bottom line is THE WHITE HOUSE REPEATEDLY DENIED that these Senior Administration Officials were involved, BUT THEY WERE DIRECTLY INVOLVED!

As a result, everyone that Valerie Plame ever worked with covertly has been put at risk, strictly for political retribution. The White House called the claims that Rove and/or Scooter Libby were involved "ridiculous", when, in fact, the claims were true, and they knew they were true.

People can spin it all they want, but they have not told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.
