I just found a great website, The Brick Testament. It features all of your favorite biblical figures and their stories built with LEGOs.The site says their goal is to give people an increased knowledge of the contents of the Bible in a way that is fun and compelling.
Seeing the stories in LEGO form is a treat, and I can only imagine how long it took to build each scene. There is even a series of books, which I'm sure would be popular with kids.
Carol (aka Smallest Angel) is preaching the story of Joseph and his brothers tomorrow, and the Brick Testament version of the text is great.
I suggested Carol use it for her sermon, but I got the eye roll in response.
Oh well, I still think it would have been good.
