One of my all-time favorite musicians was Jim Croce. You just can't grow up with the name Jim and not enjoy the classic song "Don't Mess Around With Jim".
So, when I found out that Jim Croce's widow, Ingrid, had a restaurant called Croce's in San Diego's Gaslamp District, we had to check it out.
Continuing our food theme for vacation, here are some pictures from our visit to Croce's.
The food was superb, and Ingrid Croce was there greeting patrons upon their arrival.
She was very friendly and full of bright energy. She happily had her picture taken with us, and talked with Jake about his meal.
The walls throughout the restaurant featured memorabilia from Jim Croce's career - even his personal handwritten notes with lyrics to his classic songs.
It was another great memory for the trip. They even played my theme song "Don't Mess Around With Jim" while we were there.
