Just in case I haven't said so recently, my son Jake is a brilliant 6-year old.
Exhibit #347 was demonstrated tonight while we were in Toys 'R Us and I showed Jake a Magic 8 Ball. I told him you ask a "Yes" or "No" question, and the 8 ball will give an answer.
He then asked if he would be getting a Lego Star Wars set tonight, and the answer came back "Appears Doubtful". (It was a pretty good answer too.)
I told him, "See, it's magic" to which Jake simply replied almost with a sigh, "No it's not Dad. It's 'Random'."
You can't pull one over on my boy.
