Wow! I thought WVU would play well, but no one could have predicted that WVU would defeat Oklahoma by 20 points?!
It was a great team effort by every player and coach.
- Owen "Holy Schmitt" had a great touchdown run (out of I Formation no less).
- Patrick White ran for 150 yards and threw the ball great.
- Noel Devine had a divine night running for over 100 yards in relief of an injured Steve Slaton.
- The offensive line opened some huge holes.
- The defense stifled Oklahoma all night long.
- Pat McAfee crushed his punts and even made a smash-mouth tackle.
- The coaching staff including Wetzel County boys, Jeff Casteel and Bill Stewart, had a great plan that was VERY well executed.
As the saying goes, "It's a great night to be a Mountaineer, wherever you may be!"
Congratulations to the Mountaineers and Coach Stew. You've got my vote for Head Coach!

UPDATE: Good news! WV Metronews is reporting that WVU Interim Coach Bill Stewart will be named Head Coach on Thursday.
I expect that Offensive Coordinator, Calvin Magee, will still join RR in AA, but Defensive Coordinator, Jeff Casteel, is pretty close to Coach Stewart (both grew up in Wetzel Co.), so hopefully he stays in Morgantown.
