Come one, come all to the inaugural Wabi-Sabi Blogger Bowl Pick 'em Challenge!
I've set up a Yahoo! College Bowl Pick 'em Group as a fun way to see who has the best prognostication skills picking the winners of the many college football bowl games happening during the next couple of weeks.
I'm still frustrated by the lack of a college football playoff to determine a true national champion and refuse to accept the BCS system as anything more than a competition to determine popularity with pollsters and computers. Hopefully, the pick 'em contest will add some fun to an otherwise apparently lackluster bowl season.
The easiest way to join in the fun is to follow this link, http://zi.ma/bloggerbowl. Just log on and feel free to invite others.
If you prefer to log on manually go to: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/bowl
Group Number: 51378
Password: bloggerbowl
After you join the group, you can select your predicted winner of each game or use an existing set of Yahoo! College Bowl picks from another Yahoo group. After making your picks be sure to rank your picks by level of confidence, so that you get more credit for the games that you're more sure of the winner.
I hope you'll join in the fun. That way we can all have a rooting interest in the winner of this year's epic Poinsettia and Emerald Bowl games and other match-ups.
P.S. Michigan and Marshall fans are invited to participate too. Hopefully, this will take some of the sting out of seeing power houses like Florida Atlantic, Buffalo, and Notre Dame get a bowl bid while you have to sit this bowl season out.
