Lost in Translation with Humorous Results

Last Friday I was on my way to a meeting in Charleston and thought I'd post a Twitter update about the meeting.

I'd been meaning to try out the Vlingo application on my iPhone, which is supposed to let you "control your mobile phone with the power of voice", so I gave it a try for a mobile Twitter update.

Here's what I said:

Heading to Healthy Kids & Family Coalition Meeting. Love working with those folks."

But Vlingo apparently thought I was doing something much more provocative...

I couldn't help but laugh at the initial results.

By the way, I eventually I posted my update successfully using Tweetie for the iPhone, but I will probably give Vlingo another try soon. It seems to be a good app as long as I take the time to speak clearly when using it.
