I got tickets!
On April 19th, I will go to one of America's greatest shrines, Fenway Park. I am going to be in Boston that week as a presenter for the National Child Abuse Prevention Conference, and the Red Sox are in town.
On Tuesday night, I will be in the fourth row of Section 41 in the Bleachers, just behind the bullpen, watching the Red Sox battle the Toronto Blue Jays.
I think every true baseball fan wants to see the Green Monster in person at least once, and this will be my first chance.
I've been to the "new" retro ballparks, Camden Yards (Baltimore), Coors Field (Denver), Jacobs Field (Cleveland), and The Great American Ballpark (Cincinnatti). It will be fun to see a true "old school" classic ball park.
With the opening of Fever Pitch this weekend, see if you can see where I will be sitting in the Right Field bleachers with the TRUE Red Sox fans.
