Profound Thought of the Day

I saw this provocative quote from Richard Stearns' book, The Hole in Our Gospel, over at the jester's pub, and it has stuck with me all day.
"Sometimes I'd like to ask God why He allows poverty, suffering, and injustice when He could do something about it."
"Well, why don't you ask Him?"
"Because I'm afraid He would ask me the same question."

How true that is. Sad... but true.

I suppose you could reply "Well, I donate to a few charities now and then as my already-strained budget allows, but unlike You I have limited time, resources, and power."

Or would that be bad?
